 Tofu Rice Burgers

1 1/2 cup brown rice, cooked
8 oz tofu, drained and mashed
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/4 - 1/2 cup parsley, chopped
1/2 onion, chopped
1/2 cup vegetables, cooked or raw, diced (optional)
1 - 2 garlic cloves, crushed
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp basil or thyme
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp tahini ( optional)
1 - 2 tbsp water
wheat germ and sesame seeds

Combine all ingredients except wheat germ and sesame seeds. Include diced zucchini, celery, ect. if desired. Make patty and coat with wheat germ and seeds. Fry over medium heat or bake at 350 F for 30 minutes.

Serve on English muffins or whole wheat buns for a simple change.

Yields: 5 - 6
